My Name is Steven Schroer, and I am running for the Minnesota Senate in Lakeville District 57. I am seeking to be the DFL candidate for that district. My campaign is looking to open up an internship for our campaign manager position. The internship will be an unpaid position :( (unfortunately). I strongly believe that people should be properly compensated for their labor, so I am amenable to talking about what we can do to compensate you within the limits of the campaign budget. (travel reimbursement, lump sum upon winning, etc.) I’m looking for someone passionate about big reforms like RCV. I am looking for some combination of remote and in-person work. probably about 10 to 20 hours a week, depending on the needs of the campaign. I understand that your schedule can be very demanding as a college student, and so I’m expecting to be flexible. Some examples of tasks will be: scheduling meetings, attending meetings with me, coordinating volunteers, door-knocking, phone banking, and assisting with fundraising.
